Fox Service Company Named Top Austin Corporate Philanthropist |
Austin, TX July 3 – Fox Service Company, the largest locally owned multi-trade service provider in Central Texas, was recognized in the Austin Business Journal’s first annual list of leading corporate philanthropists.
With over 480 volunteer hours accumulated in 2007, Fox Service Company ranked tenth overall in employee time spent with local charitable organizations.
"We’re thrilled to be recognized as a leader in the Austin community," said George Stuckey, Director of Marketing & Sales. "And we want to encourage other organizations to allocate time to great causes; there’s a lot more work that needs to be done."
Along with local volunteering, Fox Service Company’s employees donated $22,000 to various charitable organizations around the area during 2007. The majority of the donations were managed by an employee-run committee established last year.
